Travel is not one thing in a chart. The commonest misreading is to take a strong third or ninth as support for settling abroad, when the house for settling is the twelfth and the two can disagree.

Before you book
Can the chart say whether my visa will be approved?
No. A visa decision is made by a government against published criteria, and no reading has access to it. What the chart indicates is what the relevant houses and the running dasha say about the period — which is not the same thing and should not be presented as if it were.
Does it say which country?
Directional and regional attributions do exist in classical practice, but they are broad and they predate modern borders entirely. Treat any naming of a specific country as interpretation, not doctrine.
I have applied already. Is there any point?
Some people find it useful for pacing — knowing what the period indicates while a decision is outstanding. It will not change the outcome of an application, and it is worth being clear with yourself about that before booking.
What if I do not know my exact birth time?
Say so rather than estimating. The lagna moves through a full sign in roughly two hours and every divisional chart is computed from the same degrees, so a guessed time propagates an error through the whole reading. Where the time is genuinely unknown the standard approach is rectification — narrowing it by testing candidate lagnas against events that have already happened.
