Tarabalam · తారాబలం
Tarabalam for each Dhanussu nakshatra
The Moon is in Krittika at sunrise. Counted from your own birth star, that gives the tara below. Sampat, Kshema, Sadhana, Mitra and Parama Mitra are the favourable taras; Janma, Vipat, Pratyak and Naidhana are read as days to go gently.
About Dhanussu · ధనుస్సు రాశి గురించి
Dhanussu rasi, its lord Guru and its nakshatras
Dhanussu (ధనుస్సు, Sagittarius) is ruled by Guru (గురువు) and covers Moola, Purvashadha, Uttarashadha 1st pada. If your birth Moon fell in any of those padas, this is your rasi — whichever Sun sign you were told.
A dual fire sign. The attribution is direction and conviction — the sign associated with teaching, law and travel — with the corresponding difficulty of holding to a course once conviction shifts.
Guru rules Dhanussu and is the karaka for knowledge, counsel and progeny. Guru takes roughly a year to cross a sign, so his transit is the slow factor a yearly Dhanussu reading is built on, and his ownership of Meena means both signs move together.
- Sade Sati runs for Dhanussu while Shani transits Vrischika, Dhanussu and Makara — the 12th, 1st and 2nd from the rasi.
- Ardhashtama and Ashtama Shani are Shani in Meena and Karkataka — the 4th and 8th from Dhanussu.
- Guru is read as supportive while transiting Makara, Mesha, Mithuna, Simha or Tula — the 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th from Dhanussu.
