The five steps

Start with the ceremony or question you need help with. Share the proposed date, Hyderabad locality, language and family tradition; if the date is not fixed, say which dates are workable.

• Choose a pooja, homam, muhurtham, astrology or Vastu service.
• Share the date, location, language and relevant family tradition.
• Review the proposed Purohit and the written scope.
• Confirm the amount, payment terms and preparation list.
• Keep the ritual space and family details ready before the agreed time.

What to settle before you confirm

Before you confirm, ask for the assigned Purohit, expected duration, number of Purohits, samagri responsibility, travel and total amount in writing. Availability and the final scope are confirmed for each request rather than assumed from a general page.

If any of those five answers is missing, the booking is not yet defined — the difference between one Purohit and five, or between samagri supplied and samagri arranged by you, changes both the day and the amount substantially.

Choosing the Purohit

Which Purohit conducts the ceremony matters more than most people expect, because sampradayam, Veda and recitation language differ.
