Item 1
Kumkum, turmeric, sandal paste, akshata and loose flowers
The archana set — kumkuma, pasupu, gandham, akshintalu and poolu — used through the shodashopachara and the Ashtottara. Red flowers and lotus, if available, are Lakshmi's own.
🎁 For Lakshmi Pooja
The Lakshmi puja samagri list for Diwali Lakshmi Pooja, the Friday Lakshmi vratam and Kojagari Purnima, in one box. Lotus seeds, the kalasam cloth and coins are the items particular to Lakshmi; the rest is the archana set every household pooja shares. Each is annotated below with its use and its Telugu name.

About this kit
Lakshmi Pooja is performed on Diwali Amavasya in the evening, on Fridays through Sravana masam, and on Kojagari Purnima in families from the east. What marks the samagri out from a general pooja list is the lotus: Lakshmi is worshipped with lotus flowers when they can be had and with kamalgatta, the dried lotus seed, in the archana and the japam. Coins, a red or yellow cloth for the kalasam, and dry fruits with the naivedyam complete the list.
The kit carries the dry and durable items — seeds, cloth, thread, ghee, wicks, camphor and rangoli powder — and the fresh tamboolam and fruit against your date. Diwali orders are the busiest of the year; tell us the date early. For the Sravana Friday vratam the same kit serves, with the naivedyam the family usually prepares.
What is in the box
Item 1
The archana set — kumkuma, pasupu, gandham, akshintalu and poolu — used through the shodashopachara and the Ashtottara. Red flowers and lotus, if available, are Lakshmi's own.
Item 2
Tamara ginjalu — offered in the archana in place of, or with, lotus petals, and used as the japa mala for the Lakshmi mantra where the family keeps that custom.
Item 3
A red or yellow blouse-piece to dress the kalasam and the thread wound round its neck; the kalasam is Lakshmi's seat for the pooja.
Item 4
Tamboolam for the close, and coins placed in the kalasam and before the deity as the dhana offering — a set of new coins is included.
Item 5
The coconut tops the kalasam; bananas and dry fruits (cashew, raisins, almonds) are set with the naivedyam and shared as prasadam.
Item 6
Lakshmi Pooja lamps are ghee lamps by custom: the ghee and vathulu for the deepam, and karpuram for the harathi that closes it.
Item 7
Muggu for the threshold and the peetham — the Lakshmi footprints drawn from the door inward on Diwali evening.
Samagri requirements vary with regional tradition, family custom and the performing priest. This list is what the kit is normally assembled with — confirm the final contents with your purohit before dispatch. Fresh items are supplied against your ceremony date.
Through the ceremony
The threshold is marked with the rangoli powder — footprints from the door to the pooja place on Diwali — and ghee lamps are lit at the peetham and the doorway.
A brass or silver kalasam is filled with water, a coin and akshata, dressed with the cloth and thread from the kit, topped with mango leaves and the coconut, and set on rice as Lakshmi's seat.
The purpose is stated with the family's gotram and names; Ganapathi is worshipped first with turmeric, akshata and a flower.
Lakshmi is invoked into the kalasam or image and offered the sixteen services with the archana set — sandal paste, kumkum, flowers, incense and the ghee lamp.
The Lakshmi Ashtottara is recited, a lotus seed, petal or a pinch of kumkum offered at each name; families who keep the Sri Suktam or Lakshmi Sahasranama add it here.
Coconut, bananas, dry fruits and the family's sweets are offered; camphor harathi closes the pooja, and tamboolam with dakshina goes to the purohit.

Common questions
Turmeric, kumkum, sandal paste, akshata and flowers; lotus seeds (kamalgatta); a red or yellow cloth and thread for the kalasam; betel leaves, areca nuts and coins; a coconut, bananas and dry fruits; ghee, cotton wicks and camphor; and rangoli powder. The kit holds all of these. The kalasam, rice, milk and the family's sweets are provided at home.
Not in its core. Diwali Lakshmi Pooja adds the doorway diyas, the Lakshmi footprints in rangoli, and often a Ganesh–Lakshmi pair of images and account books for business families; the Sravana Friday vratam is the same archana with the family's usual naivedyam. One kit serves both.
Lotus flowers are Lakshmi's own offering but are seasonal and do not travel. Kamalgatta, the dried seed, is offered in the archana and strung as a japa mala for the Lakshmi mantra, and keeps indefinitely — so the kit carries seeds and you add flowers where you can find them.
A set of new coins for the dhana offering is included. Families use their own Lakshmi image, silver coins or gold ornaments for the pooja, so no idol is supplied.
Ghee lamps are customary for Lakshmi Pooja and the kit carries cow ghee for them; sesame oil is used in some households and can be substituted from the lamps and oil category.
For Kojagari Purnima, yes — the samagri is the same. Varalakshmi Vratam has its own kalasam face, thoram threads and toranam, which the Varalakshmi Pooja Kit carries.
