Varjyam, Amrita Kalam and Durmuhurtham are fixed by the nakshatra the Moon is in, which changes through the day. We publish what each one is and how it is read, and give the exact times for your date as part of a muhurtham request rather than as an approximation here.

A panchangam is computed for one place and one convention, and both change the timings it prints. This note separates what is consistently described in published practice from what genuinely varies, and states plainly which parts are AnugrahaSidhi’s recommendation rather than a rule.

- The panchangam records five limbs for a day: tithi, vara, nakshatra, yoga and karana.
- Tithi and nakshatra begin and end at computed clock times, not at midnight, so a day usually carries part of two of each.
- Every timing on this page is computed for Hyderabad in Indian Standard Time.
Varies by tradition
Real differences between families, regions and sampradayams — not errors.
- Drik-ganita and Vakya traditions produce different timings for the same day; this page follows one convention rather than mixing them.
- Amanta and Purnimanta reckonings name the lunar month differently, which is why one festival can appear under two month names.
- Sunrise-based day boundaries mean an observance can be listed on a different date than a Gregorian calendar suggests.
