Tarabalam · తారాబలం
The Moon is in Krittika at sunrise. Counted from your own birth star, that gives the tara below. Sampat, Kshema, Sadhana, Mitra and Parama Mitra are the favourable taras; Janma, Vipat, Pratyak and Naidhana are read as days to go gently.
| Your janma nakshatra | Tara today | Reading |
|---|---|---|
| Uttarashadha · ఉత్తరాషాఢ | Janma · జన్మ | Take care |
| Shravana · శ్రవణం | Parama Mitra · పరమ మిత్ర | Favourable |
| Dhanishta · ధనిష్ఠ | Mitra · మిత్ర | Favourable |
Gochara · గోచారం
Every graha’s house from Makara at sunrise, with whether that transit is read as favourable. A favourable transit is “obstructed” (vedha) when another graha sits in the house paired with it, and then counts for nothing.

About Makara · మకర రాశి గురించి
Makara (మకరం, Capricorn) is ruled by Shani (శని) and covers Uttarashadha 2–4, Sravanam, Dhanishta 1–2. If your birth Moon fell in any of those padas, this is your rasi — whichever Sun sign you were told.
A movable earth sign, and the sign in which Kuja is exalted. The classical attribution is endurance and long work — the sign associated with structure and with what is built slowly.
Shani rules Makara and also owns Kumbha. Shani is the slowest of the visible grahas at about two and a half years per sign, which is why a Makara reading leans harder on transit than on the faster grahas: the lord's own position changes only a few times in a decade.

A birth chart reading tells you which of these transits actually reaches you, and when.
