Mithuna Rasi — reading weekly phalalu
This page explains how weekly rasi phalalu are read for Mithuna, and what in the sky the reading actually rests on. It does not publish a dated prediction. For anything you are deciding on, a reading of your own chart is the thing that answers it — a rasi covers roughly a twelfth of everyone.

What a weekly reading for Mithuna rests on
The reading takes Mithuna as the reference sign, places the transiting grahas in the houses counted from it, and weights them by the strength of Budha — the rasi lord — at the time. Over a week, the faster grahas changing sign or nakshatra set the shape.
A rasi reading applies to everyone born with the Moon in Mithuna — roughly a twelfth of everyone. It is a useful weather report, not a forecast for your life. What makes it specific is your own chart: the ascendant, the running dasha, and which houses the transiting grahas actually touch for you.

A dual air sign. Dual signs are read as carrying both the movable and fixed qualities, which is why Mithuna is described as adaptable — quick to take a new direction, and correspondingly harder to hold to one.
Budha rules Mithuna and governs speech, calculation and exchange. Budha is the fastest of the grahas after the Moon and is frequently combust, so a reading checks the Sun's distance from him before weighting a Budha placement heavily.

- Sade Sati runs for Mithuna while Shani transits Vrishabha, Mithuna and Karkataka — the 12th, 1st and 2nd from the rasi, at roughly two and a half years each.
- Kantaka and Ashtama Shani are Shani in Kanya and Makara — the 4th and 8th from Mithuna. These are frequently reported as Sade Sati and are not.
- Guru transiting Karkataka, Tula, Dhanussu, Kumbha or Mesha — the 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th from Mithuna — is the reckoning behind the annual guru peyarchi readings.
A transit is read against your own chart rather than on its own, and a difficult transit in a supportive dasha is not read the same way as the same transit in an unsupportive one. Shani being exalted in Tula and debilitated in Mesha changes the reading again.
